Effective Inductions

Target audience: Managers & supervisors

Length: Minimum ½ day

Format: Pure facilitation or using theatre

Super objective: To equip those who deliver them with the skills they need to effectively run valuable workplace or site inductions.

Description: Whether it’s their first day in a new organisation or their first time on-site, an induction is a valuable opportunity to give somebody the knowledge and awareness they need to enable them to operate safely within that environment. Yet how often does an induction consist of a brief lecture or a five-minute un-guided video while the manager goes off to deal with something more important? The induction is your first opportunity to engage somebody in health and safety, so don’t waste it!
